Come help us celebrate 30 years of Camp!  The 2016 Johns Hopkins Camp Sunrise Gala will be held on May 14, 2016 at McDonogh School's Edward St. John Student Center.  This new, multi-story venue is home to a glorious ballroom that will ensure the evening is eventful and memorable.

The Gala is the largest fundraiser for Camp Sunrise, a week-long summer camp for children who have been diagnosed with or have survived cancer. Camp offers a respite with fresh air and fun with the other campers.  The social interaction and closeness with other children impacted by cancer allows them to form relationships and a sense of comradery.   At its inception Camp Sunrise enrolled just 6 campers, this year Camp will include over 120 participants. And, it’s still growing!    

The Camp Sunrise Gala promises a night of fun and will feature hors d'oeuvres, dinner, open bar, and a silent and live auction. Even better, attendees will have the opportunity to meet some of the brave and courageous children who have battled pediatric cancer.

In addition, we are thrilled to welcome back Ava Marie from WBAL TV as our 2016 Gala Emcee.
